About the Role

At PhysicsWallah, we are looking for a Business Head / Associate Business Head who can take complete ownership of a designated business and drive it towards growth, profitability, and scale.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thinks like a business owner — someone who can build and lead teams, identify growth opportunities, own the P&L;, strengthen market presence, and turn business strategy into measurable results.

You will work across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations, bringing different functions together to build a strong, sustainable, and customer-focused business.

What You’ll Own

- Business Growth & P&L;: Take end-to-end ownership of business performance, revenue, profitability, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

- Business Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets while building a sustainable business.

- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams with a strong culture of ownership, accountability, and execution.

- Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities, understand customer needs, and develop strategies to expand the customer base and market presence.

- Sales & Marketing: Drive sales performance and work closely with marketing teams to create and execute impactful campaigns and growth initiatives.

- Product & Customer Experience: Partner with product teams across ideation, development,



and launch to ensure solutions are aligned with customer and business needs.

- Cross-functional Execution: Work closely with multiple teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of products and services.

- Business Risk Management: Identify and proactively manage competitive, regulatory, and market risks that can impact the business.

- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key customers, partners, and other stakeholders.

- Industry Representation: Represent PhysicsWallah at relevant industry events, conferences, and business forums.

What We’re Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is preferred.

- 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership/business management role with a demonstrated track record of driving growth and profitability.

- Ed-Tech experience is highly preferred.

- Strong understanding of P&L; management, financial planning, and business performance.

- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.

- Strong strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to convert business challenges into actionable plans.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.

- Robust project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.





- A strong entrepreneurial mindset, bias for action, and willingness to take calculated risks.

- Most importantly, you should be someone who takes ownership, moves fast, and delivers results.
