- About the Role
- Lord Krishna Handicraft Exports is looking for a creative, trend-aware and detail-oriented Fashion Designer who can develop fresh and commercially attractive designs across our handicraft, fashion accessory and lifestyle product range.
- The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of design, colors, materials, patterns and current market trends, with the ability to convert ideas into practical products that can be sampled and developed for customers.
- This is a great opportunity for both freshers with solid creative skills and experienced designers who want hands-on exposure to product development.
- Key Responsibilities
- · Research current fashion, lifestyle, home decor and accessory trends to identify new design opportunities.
- · Develop new and innovative designs for products including jewelry, handbags, coasters, photo frames, wall décor, accessories and other handicraft products.
- · Create hand sketches, design concepts, mood boards, color combinations and product references.
- · Develop new product collections based on market trends, customer preferences and export-market requirements.
- · Select suitable fabrics, materials, colors, textures, trims, embellishments and surface details for different products.
- · Improve and redesign existing products to create more modern, attractive and commercially viable collections.
- · Prepare design references, measurements, specifications and other details required for sampling and production.
- · Coordinate with artisans, vendors, sampling and production teams to convert designs into actual products.
- · Review samples and suggest necessary changes in design, color, size, material, finishing and overall appearance.




- · Ensure the final product matches the approved design concept and required quality standards.
- · Maintain an organized record of designs, samples, color references, materials and product developments.
- · Keep track of competitor products and international market trends to bring fresh ideas to the company.
- · Support the team in developing new collections and new product categories.
- · Work closely with the merchandising and production teams to ensure designs are creative, practical, cost-conscious and suitable for bulk production.
- · Take initiative in identifying new product ideas that can help expand the company’s product range and business opportunities.
- What We Are Looking For
- · Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- · Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Accessory Design, Product Design or a related field is preferred.
- · Strong creativity and a good understanding of fashion, colors, materials, patterns and aesthetics.
- · Good sketching and design-development ability.
- · Knowledge of handicrafts, textiles, jewelry, bags or lifestyle products will be an advantage.
- · Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW or similar design software is preferred.
- · Good understanding of materials, textures, embellishments and product finishing.
- · Ability to convert creative ideas into practical and manufacturer products.
- · Good communication and coordination skills.
- · Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- · Ability to work independently and take ownership of design assignments.
- Freshers with a strong portfolio and good creative sense are encouraged to apply.
