Job Title: QC Chemist

Job Summary:

The QC Chemist will be responsible for testing and evaluating raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. The role requires hands-on laboratory experience in paints, coatings, specialty chemicals, or related industries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products as per approved specifications.
- Perform laboratory analysis including viscosity, pH, density, solids content, adhesion, gloss, hardness, drying time, and other product-specific tests.
- Approve or reject materials based on quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain Certificates of Analysis (COA), test reports, and laboratory records.
- Monitor production batches and provide quality-related guidance to the Production Team.
- Investigate quality deviations and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain calibration and upkeep of laboratory instruments and testing equipment.




- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, laboratory safety requirements, and company procedures.
- Coordinate with Production, R&D;, and Regulatory teams on quality matters.
- Maintain laboratory inventory and consumables.

Qualifications:

- B.Sc. Chemistry / M.Sc. Chemistry / Diploma or Degree in Chemical Technology.
- 1–3 years of experience in paints, coatings, specialty chemicals, adhesives, resins, inks, or related manufacturing industries.

Skills Required:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and quality systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and laboratory documentation.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
