Housekeeping Associate

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas to ensure a comfortable and pleasant guest experience in line with hotel/resort standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and service guest rooms as per established standards and schedules.
- Ensure proper cleaning, stocking, and maintenance of guest rooms, bathrooms, and balconies.
- Clean public areas including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and back-of-house areas.
- Change bed linen, towels, and replenish guest amenities as required.
- Report maintenance issues, lost and found items, and safety hazards promptly.
- Follow hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
- Handle guest requests courteously and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping equipment, trolleys, and storage areas.
- Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Comply with hotel SOPs, company policies,



and quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in housekeeping or a similar role.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding role.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working in hotels or resorts.
- Knowledge of linen handling and inventory procedures.
- Awareness of hygiene, safety, and infection-control practices.
- Basic understanding of guest service standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
