Job Overview

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated WordPress Developer with 1–3 years of experience to join our web development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, customising, maintaining, and optimising WordPress websites.

You’ll work closely with designers, SEO professionals, and other developers to build responsive, user-friendly, and high-performing websites.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and customise WordPress websites based on business requirements.
- Convert Figma/PSD designs into responsive WordPress websites.
- Customise WordPress themes and plugins as required.
- Develop and modify custom themes, templates, and website functionalities.
- Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP for website customisation.
- Install, configure, and manage WordPress plugins.
- Troubleshoot website errors, bugs, and compatibility issues.
- Improve website speed, performance, responsiveness, and security.
- Ensure websites work properly across different browsers and devices.
- Implement basic on-page SEO and maintain SEO-friendly website structures.
- Manage WordPress updates, backups, migrations, and maintenance.
- Integrate third-party tools, APIs, forms, payment gateways, and other services when required.
- Coordinate with the design and SEO teams to deliver projects on time.
- Perform website testing before and after deployment.

Required Skills

- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
- Valuable knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes,



and plugins.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Basic knowledge of MySQL/database management.
- Experience with Elementor or other WordPress page builders.
- Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Knowledge of website speed optimisation and basic WordPress security.
- Familiarity with SEO-friendly website development.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related issues independently.
- Good understanding of website hosting, domains, DNS, and cPanel will be an advantage.

Good to Have

- Experience with WooCommerce.
- Knowledge of custom WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with Git/version control.
- Experience working with Figma or Adobe XD designs.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, and basic SEO practices.
