Job Description

We are looking for an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations for our interior design and contracting business.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in Tally, GST, TDS, invoicing, vendor payments, client collections, and project-wise accounting. Experience in an interior, construction, architecture, or contracting company will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/Tally Prime.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare client invoices and track project-wise billing.
- Maintain vendor, client, bank, and cash ledgers.
- Verify purchase bills, vendor invoices, expenses, and payment documents.
- Track project-wise expenses, material costs, labour/contractor payments, and profitability.
- Follow up on client outstanding payments.
- Process vendor and contractor payments.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Manage GST and TDS records and support timely statutory compliance.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including P&L; and outstanding reports.




- Maintain proper accounting records and documents for audit purposes.
- Coordinate with project, procurement, and management teams regarding billing and expenses.
- Assist management with cash-flow planning and project cost tracking.

Requirements

- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Tally/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, reconciliation, and taxation.
- Experience with project-based accounting is preferred.
- Interior/construction industry experience will be an added advantage.
- Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
