We're hiring a Sales Coordinator to support our client's sales team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating sales operations, managing documentation, and liaising between sales teams, clients, and internal departments.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily sales activities and support the sales team in achieving targets
- Prepare and maintain sales reports, quotations, and order documentation
- Liaise with clients to process orders, resolve queries, and ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, finance, production) for smooth order fulfillment
- Maintain and update customer database (CRM) and sales records
- Follow up on payments, invoices, and outstanding collections
- Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and MIS reports
- Track inventory/stock status relevant to sales orders
- Handle correspondence,
scheduling, and communication for the sales team
Requisite Skills:
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of CRM/ERP systems preferred
- Strong coordination and multitasking ability
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Education: Any graduate (preferably Business/Commerce background)
Experience: 1 to 5 years in a sales coordination or sales support role
