Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in test automation. The ideal candidate should possess solid expertise in Java, Selenium, Playwright, and test automation frameworks, with hands-on experience in scripting, API testing, database validation, and CI/CD integration. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop,



and maintain automated test scripts using Java-based automation frameworks.

- Develop and execute UI automation suites using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright.

- Create reusable test components and automation utilities to improve testing efficiency.

- Analyze business requirements and convert them into automated test scenarios.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

- Execute API testing and validate service responses.

- Perform database validation using SQL queries.

- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to identify test requirements.

- Identify, document, track, and validate defects through closure.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

- Generate automation execution reports and testing metrics.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing.

- Strong programming skills in Java.

- Experience working with Selenium WebDriver and Playwright.

- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms.

- Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation.

- Knowledge of performance testing tools.

- ISTQB Certification or equivalent testing certification.

- Experience with Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, or Enterprise applications.
