Job Summary:

Responsible for leading and managing end-to-end microbiology production operations, ensuring efficient manufacturing, product quality, regulatory compliance, process optimization, and achievement of production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage overall microbiology production operations.
- Plan production schedules and ensure timely achievement of production targets.
- Oversee microbial culture, fermentation, sterilization, and other microbiological production processes.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, GLP, and applicable quality standards.
- Monitor batch performance, production yield, process parameters, and productivity.
- Coordinate with QA, QC, R&D;, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams.
- Investigate production deviations, contamination issues, and process failures.
- Implement effective CAPA and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive process optimization, productivity improvement, and cost reduction.
- Ensure proper equipment cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance coordination.
- Manage production manpower, shift planning, training, and team performance.
- Review batch records, production documentation, and operational reports.
- Support technology transfer and scale-up of new products and processes.
- Ensure adherence to biosafety and regulatory requirements.
- Develop production KPIs, monitor performance,



and report to senior management.

Skills Required:

- Strong expertise in Microbiology and Microbial Production
- Knowledge of microbial culture, fermentation, aseptic processing, and sterilization
- Strong understanding of GMP, GLP, SOPs, CAPA, and deviation management
- Knowledge of contamination control and microbiological safety
- Solid production planning and process optimization skills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of manufacturing documentation and regulatory compliance

Qualification & Experience:

- M.Sc. / M.Tech / PhD in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related field
- 10–15+ years of experience in microbiology, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical production
- Previous experience in a Production Head / Production Manager / Senior Leadership role preferred

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, fermentation, probiotics, microbial products, enzymes, or industrial microbiology
- Strong experience managing large-scale production operations and teams
- Experience with process scale-up, technology transfer, and GMP-regulated manufacturing environments

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
