Job Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced Operations Manager – Housekeeping to manage large-scale housekeeping operations in a reputed hospital or hotel environment.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in managing 500+ manpower and large facilities of approximately 5 lakh sq. ft.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage overall housekeeping operations across the facility.
- Manage, supervise and coordinate a large housekeeping workforce of 500+ employees.
- Plan manpower deployment, duty rosters, shifts and daily operations.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation.
- Manage housekeeping operations across a large facility of approximately 5 lakh sq. ft.
- Monitor housekeeping productivity, quality and service standards.
- Develop and implement housekeeping SOPs and operational procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Manage housekeeping chemicals, cleaning materials, equipment and consumables.
- Have robust knowledge of housekeeping materials, chemicals, equipment and their applications.
- Monitor material consumption and control operational costs.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Security, F&B;, Nursing/Clinical departments and Administration wherever required.
- Handle complaints,



service issues and corrective actions.
- Train, develop and motivate housekeeping staff and supervisors.
- Monitor attendance, manpower productivity and performance.
- Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with hospital/hotel standards, safety requirements and company policies.
- Manage vendors and outsourced housekeeping services where applicable.

Candidate Requirements:

- Degree or above is mandatory.
- Minimum 10 years of total housekeeping experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Assistant Operations Manager / Assistant Manager – Housekeeping in a reputed organization.
- Hospital or hotel industry experience is mandatory.
- Proven experience managing 500+ manpower.
- Experience managing large facilities of approximately 5 lakh sq. ft.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping materials, chemicals, machinery and cleaning processes.
- Excellent manpower management and leadership skills.
- Strong operational planning and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Important: Candidates from industries other than hospital or hotel will not be preferred.
