Job Summary:

We are a growing trading business seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee our complete financial operations. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of internal accounting, tax compliance (GST & TDS), inventory tracking, margin analysis, and finalization of financial statements. You will also serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and tax advisors.
Key Responsibilities:

- Internal Accounting & Bookkeeping: Manage day-to-day accounting functions, ledger entries, bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and cash flow management.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely calculation, filing, and reconciliation of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and TDS/TCS returns.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare month-end and annual Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss (P&L;) statements, and trial balances.
- Audit & Tax Coordination: Lead coordination with external statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax authorities to facilitate smooth audits and assessments.
- Trading Financial Control: Track product margins, perform cost analysis, and evaluate profitability across product lines or trading desks.
- Inventory & Cost Accounting:



Monitor valuation, stock reconciliation, landed cost calculations, and inventory audits in coordination with warehouse/sales teams.

Key Requirements & Skills:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance (B.Com / M.Com) or semi-qualified CA / CMA / Inter-CA also can apply.
- Experience: 5+ years of core accounting experience, preferably in a trading, wholesale, import/export, or retail business.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in accounting software (Tally Prime / Zoho Books / SAP / Busy) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, financial formulas).
- Tax Knowledge: Strong practical understanding of Indian GST, TDS, and Income Tax provisions relevant to commercial trading.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze gross margins, landed inventory costs, and operating expenses.
