Job Responsibilities

- Perform welding, fabrication, and repair work as per drawings and specifications.
- Carry out MIG, TIG, ARC, and/or gas welding as required.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, welding symbols, and measurements.
- Weld and fabricate steel, stainless steel, and other metal components.
- Perform cutting, grinding, fitting, and finishing of metal parts.
- Inspect welds for cracks, defects, porosity, and proper alignment.
- Maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow company safety procedures and use appropriate PPE at all times.
- Ensure work is completed within the required quality and project schedule.
- Coordinate with fitters, supervisors, and site/project teams.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.

Requirements





- ITI / Vocational qualification in Welder/Fabrication is preferred.
- Previous experience in marine, shipbuilding, offshore, industrial, or structural fabrication will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read basic fabrication/engineering drawings.
- Positive physical fitness and willingness to work at project/site locations.
- Freshers with relevant ITI qualification may also be considered.
