Job Title: SAP ABAP Consultant

Location: Bangalore (WFO)

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP ABAP programs including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF).
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs, OData services, and other web services to integrate SAP with third-party systems.
- Work on SAP NetWeaver Gateway for OData service development and SAP Fiori integration.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform system analysis, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Optimize existing ABAP code and ensure high performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and other stakeholders to deliver robust SAP solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and API connectivity.

Required Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP (Core ABAP, CDS View, AMDP, Reports, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements).
- Experience with API Integration: REST, JSON, SOAP, XML, OData, RFC, IDoc.
- Proficiency in SAP NetWeaver Gateway and OData service development.
- Experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 integration is a plus.




- Knowledge of SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI is an added advantage.
- Understanding of Authorization and Authentication mechanisms (OAuth, SAML) for API security.
- Solid debugging and performance optimization skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- SAP ABAP Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
