As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Process Engineer – Water & Wastewater to join our engineering team.

Job Description

We are seeking a Process Engineer with 2–5 years of relevant experience in the Water & Wastewater industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for process design, engineering calculations, equipment sizing, system optimization, and providing technical support for water and wastewater treatment projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop process solutions for water and wastewater treatment systems.
- Prepare process design calculations, hydraulic calculations, mass balances, and equipment sizing.
- Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;), process datasheets, and technical documentation.
- Review client specifications and recommend suitable treatment processes and technologies.
- Provide technical inputs to proposal, engineering, project, procurement, and commissioning teams.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Structural, and other engineering disciplines.
- Carry out process optimization and troubleshooting during project execution and commissioning.
- Review vendor technical documents, equipment selections,



and supplier information as required.
- Support preparation of technical specifications, datasheets, and engineering documentation.
- Ensure process designs comply with project requirements, applicable standards, and client specifications.

Required Skills & Knowledge

Candidates should have good knowledge and practical experience in:

- STP – Sewage Treatment Plants
- ETP – Effluent Treatment Plants
- WTP – Water Treatment Plants
- ZLD – Zero Liquid Discharge Systems
- Process design and engineering calculations
- Hydraulic calculations and system design
- Mass balance calculations
- Equipment sizing and selection
- PFD and P&ID; preparation/review
- Process datasheets and technical documentation
- Treatment process selection and optimization

Knowledge or experience in the following will be an advantage:

- RO – Reverse Osmosis
- UF – Ultrafiltration
- MBR – Membrane Bioreactor
- MBBR – Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor
- Clarifiers, filters, pumps, blowers and chemical dosing systems
- Sludge handling and dewatering systems

Candidate Requirements

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good engineering calculation and technical documentation skills.
- Valuable communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet agreed deadlines.
- Good attention to detail and engineering quality requirements.

Qualification

- B.E. / B.Tech. in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Water & Wastewater Treatment projects.
