Position:General Manager – Sales (Automobile)

Industry: Automobile / Automotive Dealership

Experience:10–15 Years in Automobile Sales, preferably with dealership experience

Location :Erode, Karur, Nammakal

Salary:2,00,000 per Month

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- 10–15 years of experience in the automobile industry.
- Strong experience in automobile dealership sales.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing large sales teams.Strong knowledge of local automobile market and customer segments.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Lead and manage the complete automobile sales team.
- Monitor enquiries, leads, bookings, retail sales, and vehicle deliveries.
- Drive showroom and field sales performance.
- Manage corporate, fleet, institutional, and key customer sales.
- Monitor and improve lead-to-booking and booking-to-retail conversion.
- Conduct regular sales team reviews and performance meetings.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and develop the sales team.
- Monitor competitor activities,



market trends, and customer requirements.
- Drive Finance, Insurance, Exchange, Accessories, and Extended Warranty business.
- Handle customer escalations and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports/MIS.
- Take corrective actions to improve sales performance and profitability.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Automobile, or a related field.
- 10–15 years of experience in automobile sales/dealership operations.
- Proven experience in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Robust team leadership and people management skills.
- Good knowledge of automobile dealership processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Strong market knowledge and business development capabilities.
