Job Description – Rebar Detailer

Position: Rebar Detailer – Mid-Level to Senior Level
Location: Chennai
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 2–7 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Rebar Detailer with strong hands-on experience in RebarCAD and good knowledge of AISC Standards. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate reinforcement detailing drawings and bar bending schedules for US-based projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed reinforcement drawings using RebarCAD.
- Read and interpret structural, architectural, and engineering drawings.
- Prepare rebar layouts, sections, elevations, and reinforcement details.
- Prepare accurate Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and rebar quantities.
- Ensure reinforcement detailing complies with AISC Standards and project specifications.
- Review drawings for accuracy, constructability, dimensions, bar sizes, spacing, laps, and couplers.
- Incorporate design changes, revisions, and checker comments.
- Coordinate with Engineers, Checkers, Detailers, and Project Managers.




- Identify and resolve detailing issues before drawing submission.
- Ensure drawings meet project quality standards and deadlines.
- Maintain proper documentation and revision control.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in RebarCAD.
- Good knowledge of AISC Standards and US project requirements.
- Strong understanding of reinforcement detailing and construction practices.
- Knowledge of rebar sizes, spacing, laps, bends, hooks, couplers, and bar marks.
- Ability to read and understand structural and engineering drawings.
- Experience preparing Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.

Experience

- Experience working on US rebar detailing projects is preferred.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Structural Engineering, or related field.

Preferred: Immediate joiners.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
