Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Engineer with hands-on experience in electrical manufacturing quality, inspection, testing and process improvement.

The ideal candidate should have experience in Electrical Panel / Busduct manufacturing, quality documentation, audits, non-conformity handling, vendor quality and electrical standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain quality-related documents, reports and records.
- Perform inspection and testing at various stages of manufacturing as per Quality Plans and applicable standards.
- Identify, analyze and close Non-Conformities (NCRs) using appropriate Quality Tools.
- Implement and improve Quality Management Systems, processes and standards.
- Coordinate internal, customer and vendor audits.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure effective corrective/preventive actions.
- Manage Vendor/OEM approval, assessment, validation and development.
- Coordinate and witness type testing of electrical products at authorized laboratories such as ERDA, CPRI, NEC, etc.
- Support product and process development activities.
- Drive process improvement, productivity improvement and cost optimization.
- Maintain production records and analyze cycle time and quality statistics.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, vendors and management to ensure product quality.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IS/IEC electrical standards.

Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA will be an added advantage.

Qualification

Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control, preferably in:

- Electrical Panel Manufacturing
- Busduct / Busbar Trunking
- Switchgear Manufacturing
- Electrical Products Manufacturing
- Industrial Electrical Manufacturing

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
