Job Description – Service Engineer (Electronics)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Service Engineer – Electronics with hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing electronic circuits and PCBs, particularly SMPS and control boards used in medical/electronic equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in PCBs, SMPS boards, power supply circuits, and electronic components.
- Identify and test components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, MOSFETs, ICs, relays, regulators, transformers, etc.
- Perform component-level testing, replacement, soldering, and rework.
- Identify faults using multimeter, oscilloscope, LCR meter, DC power supply, and other electronic testing equipment.
- Understand circuit diagrams, schematics, and PCB layouts.
- Troubleshoot issues related to power supply, voltage/current fluctuations, short circuits, and component failures.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of electronic equipment.
- Maintain service reports, repair records,



and fault analysis reports.
- Coordinate with the production/R&D; team for recurring or complex technical issues.
- Ensure repaired equipment meets required quality and safety standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma/B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, Biomedical Electronics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components and their functions.
- Practical experience in PCB and SMPS troubleshooting and repair.
- Good understanding of analog and digital electronics.
- Ability to identify component-level faults rather than only replacing complete boards.
- Positive soldering and desoldering skills.
- Ability to read and understand circuit diagrams and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in medical equipment electronics will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
