Job Summary

We are looking for a System Test Engineer – Electric Vehicle with 1–3 years of experience in system-level testing and validation. The role focuses on Inverter testing in a High Voltage (HV) lab environment, including manual and automated testing, test analysis, debugging, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Create system test case specifications based on customer and system requirements.
- Execute manual and automated system tests for inverter products.
- Perform testing in HV lab / test bench environments.
- Analyze test results, identify deviations, and prepare detailed test reports.
- Develop and review test designs and automation scripts.
- Review system requirements, test specifications, and automation scripts.
- Design test cases with a solid focus on automotive safety requirements.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues related to HV test benches, microcontrollers, and embedded software.
- Develop automation scripts to reduce manual testing effort.
- Maintain accurate test status, defect reporting, and requirement traceability.
- Collaborate with development, validation, and system engineering teams.

Required Skills





- 1–3 years of experience in System Testing / Automotive Testing / Embedded Testing.
- Basic understanding of Electric Vehicle (EV) architecture.
- Ability to analyze and interpret customer/system requirements.
- Hands-on experience with system-level testing in an HV lab or equivalent test environment.
- Experience with test development and execution based on:
- LV123
- LV124
- VW80000
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 – Functional Safety.
- Good understanding of E-Machine characteristics and Inverter technologies.
- Experience with automotive testing tools such as:
- CANoe
- ECU-TEST
- INCA
- ASCET
- LABCAR / dSPACE
- Experience with requirement/test management tools:
- DOORS
- RQM
- ALM
- Knowledge of source control tools such as Git / AEEE.

Good to Have

- Knowledge of JBeam.
- Exposure to software development or system architecture.
- Experience in test automation.
- Knowledge of automotive embedded systems.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Education

B.E./B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with hands-on experience in EV/Inverter System Testing + HV Lab + CANoe/ECU-TEST + Automotive Testing Standards + ISO 26262 will be preferred.
