Job Summary:

Responsible for preparing high-quality American and café-style cuisine, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, food quality, hygiene, and timely service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare authentic American and café-style dishes.
- Prepare items such as burgers, sandwiches, wraps, pizzas, pasta, fries, salads, soups, pancakes, waffles, and breakfast dishes.
- Handle daily mise en place and ensure timely food preparation.
- Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, quality, and presentation.
- Follow standard recipes and food presentation guidelines.
- Assist in menu planning and development of new American café dishes.
- Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients.
- Control food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
- Coordinate with the Café Manager, Baristas, and service team for smooth operations.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and equipment.
- Follow food safety standards and company SOPs.
- Supervise and guide Commis and kitchen helpers.
- Handle peak-hour operations efficiently.

Skills Required:

- Strong knowledge of American and Continental cuisine.




- Expertise in burgers, sandwiches, breakfast dishes, pasta, pizzas, and café-style food.
- Good knowledge of food presentation and modern café plating.
- Knowledge of standard recipes and portion control.
- Basic knowledge of food costing and inventory management.
- Good teamwork and kitchen management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café workplace.

Qualification & Experience:

- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred.
- 3–7 years of experience as a Café Chef / American Cuisine Chef / Continental Chef.
- Experience in cafés, restaurants, hotels, or premium QSRs preferred.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in American-style cafés, burger cafés, diners, casual dining restaurants, or international cuisine restaurants.
- Experience handling modern café menus and high-volume food service is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
