MBA Finance Intern – MIS

About the Role

We are looking for an MBA Finance Intern – MIS who is highly comfortable with numbers, Excel, data handling, and reporting. The role will primarily involve MIS preparation, data analysis, maintaining reports, tracking business performance, and providing accurate insights to the management team.

The ideal candidate should have a robust analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail, and a good understanding of Excel and financial data.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Collect, consolidate, and validate data from different departments.
- Maintain accurate and updated Excel-based reports and trackers.
- Analyze business and financial data to identify trends, gaps, and variances.
- Prepare performance reports and dashboards for management review.
- Track key business and financial metrics.
- Assist in preparing revenue, expense, collection, and payment-related reports.
- Monitor and update departmental performance trackers.
- Perform data reconciliation and identify discrepancies.
- Generate regular reports and ensure timely submission to management.
- Maintain databases and ensure accuracy and consistency of information.




- Support the finance team with data analysis and reporting requirements.
- Create ad-hoc reports and analysis as required by management.
- Coordinate with different teams to collect and verify required data.

Requirements

- Pursuing or recently completed MBA in Finance.
- Strong interest in MIS, reporting, and data analysis.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work with large datasets and multiple reports.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to meet reporting deadlines.

Excel Skills – Preferred

- VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP
- Pivot Tables
- SUMIF / SUMIFS
- IF formulas
- Conditional Formatting
- Data Cleaning and Sorting
- Basic Charts and Dashboards

Preferred

- Previous internship or project experience in MIS, Finance, Business Analytics, or Reporting.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting/dashboard tools is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of finance and accounting concepts.

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per hour
