Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. The intern will learn and assist in improving website rankings on search engines through on-page SEO, off-page SEO, keyword research, content optimization, and website analysis.

Roles and ResponsibilitiesOn-Page SEO

- Perform keyword research using SEO tools.
- Optimize website pages, meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, and content.
- Check keyword placement and content quality.
- Assist in internal linking and URL optimization.

Off-Page SEO

- Create and manage business listings.
- Build backlinks through various off-page SEO activities.
- Perform directory submissions, profile creations, and citation building.
- Monitor backlink quality and growth.

Technical SEO

- Conduct basic website audits.
- Identify broken links, duplicate content, and indexing issues.
- Monitor website performance and page speed.
- Assist in implementing SEO recommendations.

Content SEO

- Support content creation based on keyword research.
- Optimize blog posts and web pages for search engines.
- Ensure content follows SEO best practices.

Reporting & Analysis





- Track keyword rankings.
- Monitor website traffic using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Prepare weekly and monthly SEO reports.
- Analyze competitors and industry trends.

Skills Required

- Basic understanding of SEO concepts.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Google Search, MS Excel, and internet research.
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Willingness to learn digital marketing techniques.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with Google Analytics.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console.
- Basic knowledge of WordPress.
- Understanding of AI tools such as ChatGPT for content research.

By the end of the internship, the candidate will learn:
