About the Role

We're looking for a sharp,



detail-obsessed QA Manual Engineer to join our team and help ensure our AI platform delivers enterprise-grade reliability and exceptional user experience. You'll be a hands-on individual contributor, spending the majority of your time crafting thorough test cases and executing manual testing across web and mobile applications. Working directly alongside our founding designer and engineering teams, you'll be on the front lines of quality for one of the most technically ambitious products being built today.

This is not a maintenance role at a legacy company. You'll be testing software that writes software -validating the output of an autonomous AI platform used by Fortune 500 enterprises. The problems you'll encounter are novel, the pace is fast, and the quality bar is high. As an IC, you'll have direct influence over how quality is practiced at a company building one of the most ambitious products in enterprise AI today. Your work will be seen, felt, and valued from day one.

Responsibilities

- Define comprehensive manual test cases for new features based on UX designs, requirements, and user workflows.

- Own regression testing across web and mobile applications to ensure existing functionality remains intact across releases.

- Lead exploratory testing to identify edge cases, failure points, and potential issues before they reach customers.

- Execute API testing to validate front-end and back-end integrations and ensure reliable system functionality.





- Ensure thorough end-to-end test coverage across critical user journeys and application experiences.

- Manage defects tracking in Jira through accurate documentation, prioritization, and assignment

- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design teams to align on requirements and quality standards.

- Partner with the Automation Engineer to identify opportunities to automate repetitive manual tests and improve testing efficiency.

- Contribute to a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

- 6+ years of QA experience with a strong emphasis on manual testing.

- Expert-level manual testing skills across web and mobile applications.

- Deep understanding of UX design principles and requirements analysis.

- Experience with API testing and integration testing.

- Strong knowledge of test case design, execution, and management.

- Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (Jira preferred).

- Experience working within Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

- Strong attention to detail with a user-focused mindset.

- Track record of implementing QA best practices from scratch in a quick-moving environment.
