About The Role

The Wellness Shop is looking for an Assistant Manufacturing Chemist with hands-on experience in cosmetic formulation, product development, testing, and manufacturing support.

Key Responsibilities

- Support formulation development, lab trials, stability testing, optimization, and product scale-up.
- Work on Skincare, Haircare, Body Care, and Hair Removal products.
- Coordinate with contract manufacturers and support commercial production and batch execution.
- Troubleshoot formulation and manufacturing issues during scale-up.
- Support stability, efficacy, safety, and dermatological testing.
- Assist in evaluating raw materials, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
- Maintain BMRs, SOPs, COAs, formulation sheets, and technical documentation.
- Work closely with Product, Quality, Sourcing, and Manufacturing teams.

Requirements

- 2–4 years of experience in Personal Care / Cosmetics formulation or manufacturing.




- Hands-on experience in cosmetic formulation, lab trials, testing, and product optimization.
- Experience in Skincare, Haircare, Body Care, or Hair Removal.
- Good knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, stability testing, and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of commercial scale-up and contract manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of GMP, ISO 22716, BIS, and cosmetic compliance.
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, or related field.

Preferred

- Experience with D2C Beauty & Personal Care brands.
- Exposure to Clean Beauty, Natural, or Ayurvedic formulations.
- Familiarity with COSMOS, ECOCERT, or similar certifications.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
