Dalfen Industrial is looking for an Analyst to join our team. The Analyst will be integral in supporting the firm's revenue growth goals, responsible for underwriting real estate investments across the U.S, and assisting in capital formation activities.
Position Responsibilities
- Underwrite prospective real estate acquisitions by analyzing property-level financials, operating performance, market fundamentals, and investment assumptions to evaluate potential returns and risk.
- Analyze acquisition opportunities and prepare detailed financial models, including cash flow projections, valuation analyses, sensitivity analyses, and return metrics.
- Evaluate property and portfolio-level operating statements, rent rolls, lease terms, capital expenditures, and other financial and operational data to identify key investment considerations.
- Assist with transaction execution by providing ongoing financial analysis and underwriting updates as new information becomes available throughout the acquisition process.
- Complete ad hoc financial, market, portfolio, and investment analysis projects as needed.
Skills & Experience
- Undergraduate degree from a top tier accredited institution
- 2+ years of work experience
- Solid desire to work in real estate finance
- Highly motivated with strong work ethic
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a demanding work environment
- Detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Real estate specific coursework or work experience is preferred
- Proficiency in Argus, Costar and Real Capital Analytics preferred
