Role Description The Video Editor role at Mddt.in is a full time, on-site position based in Madurai. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw video footage into polished content, including corporate videos, product demos, and social media assets that align with brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and trimming clips, applying transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, performing basic sound cleanup, and ensuring visual consistency across projects. The role also involves collaborating with designers, marketers, and developers to understand project requirements, incorporating feedback from stakeholders, and meeting agreed timelines.



The Video Editor will support the production team by maintaining an organized asset library and staying current with industry trends and editing techniques.
Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience turning raw footage into compelling visual stories.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading and Graphics to enhance visual quality and maintain consistent brand aesthetics.
- Ability to create Motion Graphics and integrate them seamlessly into video projects.
- Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Capcut).
- Good understanding of video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, and export settings for web and social platforms.
- Attention to detail, strong visual sense, and ability to follow brand and style guidelines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Portfolio showcasing video editing, color grading, and motion graphics work.
