Role Description:

The Wedding Specialist Manager is responsible for generating and converting wedding business for the hotel, managing client relationships, and ensuring smooth coordination and execution of wedding events.

Key Responsibilities:

- Generate recent wedding leads and achieve assigned revenue targets.
- Handle wedding enquiries, proposals, negotiations, and conversions.
- Build strong relationships with wedding planners, clients, and event partners.
- Coordinate with F&B;, Banquets, Kitchen, Front Office, and other departments for seamless event execution.
- Conduct site inspections and present wedding packages and hotel facilities.
- Ensure high guest satisfaction and drive repeat/referral business.
- Monitor sales pipeline, bookings,



payments, and event details.
- Identify opportunities to upsell rooms, F&B;, and other hotel services.

Qualifications

- Experience in wedding planning, event management, or hospitality operations, with a strong focus on client service and on-site event coordination.
- Skills in stakeholder and vendor management, including coordinating with internal departments and external partners to deliver seamless events.
- Proficiency in scheduling, budgeting, and contract review, with attention to detail in timelines, guest lists, and event logistics.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present concepts, negotiate solutions, and manage expectations with diverse clients.
- Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to work under pressure and handle multiple events simultaneously.
- Comfort with basic office and event-planning software; experience with hotel property management or sales systems is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hospitality management, event management, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a hotel or luxury wedding venue environment and familiarity with local Dehradun market and cultural wedding practices is beneficial.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by wedding and event schedules.
