Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, your day involves acting as a software detective, diligently investigating and resolving issues that arise across various components of essential business systems. You will engage in continuous monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure system stability and performance, collaborating with different teams to maintain seamless operations. Your role is pivotal in identifying root causes of problems and implementing effective solutions to support critical business functions, contributing to the overall reliability and efficiency of the technology environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues promptly.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on technical challenges.
- Continuously monitor system health and proactively identify potential risks to prevent downtime.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Vmware Virtualization Administration.
- Experience in managing virtual environments, including deployment, configuration, and maintenance of virtual machines.
- Robust understanding of virtualization concepts, resource allocation, and performance tuning.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtual infrastructure and associated hardware.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery processes within virtualized environments.
- Knowledge of network configurations and security considerations in virtualized systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Vmware Virtualization Administration.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
