Job responsibilities

- Go (Golang) — production Go you have written and shipped: concurrency (goroutines, channels, context), interfaces, error handling, testing, module management. Experience with Kubernetes controllers or operators in Go (client-go, controller-runtime, Kubebuilder/Operator SDK) is valued.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) — active certification, or equivalent production depth with willingness to certify within the first six months.
- Kubernetes at production depth — multi-tenant clusters, upgrades, RBAC, network policies, CSI/CNI, Helm, troubleshooting under pressure.
- Containers — Docker, image optimisation, registries, build pipelines, runtime security basics.
- Cloud proficiency across private and public cloud — hands-on experience operating a private cloud platform (OpenStack strongly preferred) together with working proficiency in at least one public cloud, and familiarity with all three: AWS, Azure and GCP.
- You should be comfortable reasoning about hybrid and multi-cloud architectures and mapping equivalent services across providers.
- Linux — strong administration and systems troubleshooting: systemd, storage, filesystems, process and performance analysis, kernel-level debugging basics. Non-negotiable for this role.
- Networking — solid command of TCP/IP, subnetting and routing, DNS, load balancing, VPC/SDN concepts, security groups and firewalls, NAT, TLS, and packet-level troubleshooting (tcpdump/ss/iptables). Non-negotiable for this role.




- CI/CD — Jenkins proficiency required (pipeline authoring, shared libraries, agents, plugin management); additional experience with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or ArgoCD welcome. GitOps workflow and Git fluency.
- Infrastructure as Code — Terraform and Ansible, both required.
- Observability — Prometheus, Grafana, Loki or equivalent; PromQL comfort, Opensearch, Wazuh.
- Scripting — Python or Bash for automation and glue.

Required Skills

- Serverless/FaaS internals (Knative, OpenFaaS, Kubeless or similar) — event-driven execution, trigger models,cold-start optimization.
- GPU infrastructure — NVIDIA device plugin, MIG, GPU operator, multi-tenant GPU scheduling.
- Storage systems — block/object/file service operations.
- Contributions to CNCF or other open-source projects.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) — a strong plus.
- Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer is equally welcome.

Qualifications

- 3–6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
