About AlGreen:

AlGreen is a nature-tech company on a mission to reinvent air purification — building living, microalgae-powered air purifiers backed by real biotech and science. We're an early-stage startup based in South Mumbai, working at the intersection of biology, engineering, and sustainability. Educational workshops are an important part of how we build engagement and community around our science (1,500+ students reached so far), but they're one piece of a much broader business.

About the role:

We're hiring into our Founders Office for a versatile, science-first all-rounder who can work directly with the founders across everything the business needs — R&D;, marketing, operations, and more. To start, you'll spend much of your time leading our educational workshops, while also picking up general marketing operations, R&D; support, and other multi-faceted responsibilities spanning day-to-day execution, long-term vision, marketing assets, and how AlGreen is perceived by clients and supply chain partners.

Responsibilities:

Lead and grow our sustainability and science workshops,



drawing on your biotech/chemistry background to design and deliver robust sessions.

Support R&D; on our living algae cultures and air purification products.

Own pieces of marketing operations — content, campaigns, and brand assets that shape how AlGreen is perceived by clients and partners.

Take on multi-faceted founder's-office responsibilities as they come up, from supply chain coordination to sales support to operational problem-solving.

Help turn long-term vision into day-to-day execution across the business.

Who we're looking for:

A strong foundation in Biotechnology, Chemistry, or an allied science.

Fluent in English, with strong communication and presentation skills.

Based in Mumbai — we're prioritizing candidates who are already local for this full-time, in-person role.

Energized by a fast-moving, early-stage startup environment and comfortable wearing multiple hats.
