Role Description The Vertical Manager – Catering and Photography is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing all catering and photography operations for weddings and related events. The role involves planning menus with the catering team, coordinating food preparation and service schedules, and ensuring food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards are consistently met. The manager will supervise photography and videography teams, plan shot lists and timelines, and ensure that visual coverage aligns with each client's preferences and the brand's quality expectations. Daily responsibilities include vendor and team coordination, managing event day execution, handling client communication and feedback, resolving issues on-site, and maintaining accurate records of costs, inventory,



and performance. The Vertical Manager will collaborate closely with other verticals such as decor, entertainment, and guest management to deliver cohesive and well-orchestrated events.
Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in Food Service and Catering, with the ability to plan menus, coordinate kitchen operations, and manage event-based food delivery.
- Hands-on experience in Cooking or Food & Beverage management, with knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and quality control practices.
- Robust Customer Service skills, with the ability to manage client expectations, respond to feedback, and provide a calm, solution-oriented presence on event days.
- Proven capability in managing photography and videography teams, including scheduling, shot planning, and quality review of delivered content.
- Experience in event or wedding management, with strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain transparent communication under time-sensitive conditions.
- Comfort working long hours on event days, including weekends and holidays, with flexibility to adapt to changing schedules.
- Proficiency with basic office tools and digital communication platforms; familiarity with photography trends or food presentation styles is an advantage.
