About the Role

We are looking for a talented and motivated Junior Architect to join our growing design team at Pastel Design Studio. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of both architectural design and interior design, with the ability to contribute across multiple stages of a project—from concept development and design to detailed drawings and site coordination.

This role is ideal for an architect who enjoys working on diverse projects and wants hands-on exposure to both building architecture and interior spaces.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the design and development of architectural and interior design projects.
- Prepare concept designs, space planning, layouts, and design presentations.
- Develop architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
- Prepare interior design drawings, including furniture layouts, ceiling plans, flooring layouts, electrical layouts, and detailed interior drawings.
- Create and coordinate working drawings, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Develop 3D models and visual presentations when required.
- Coordinate with senior architects, designers, consultants, vendors, and contractors.
- Assist in material selection and preparation of material palettes.
- Participate in site visits, site measurements, and project coordination.




- Monitor project progress and assist in resolving design and execution-related issues.
- Ensure drawings and designs are coordinated and aligned with project requirements and timelines.

Skills & Requirements

- B.Arch degree is mandatory.
- 2–3 years of professional experience in architectural and/or interior design projects.
- Strong understanding of architectural planning, detailing, and construction drawings.
- Experience working on both architecture and interior design projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, 3D modelling software, and rendering tools will be preferred.
- Knowledge of Revit/BIM will be an added advantage.
- Strong design sense with an eye for proportions, materials, detailing, and aesthetics.
- Positive understanding of building materials, finishes, and construction practices.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work within project deadlines.
