We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused IT Helpdesk Executive to join our team at the TCS Camac Street location. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of IT systems and troubleshooting and be comfortable providing technical assistance to users.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level IT support to users via phone, email, or in person.
Troubleshoot basic issues related to hardware, software, operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
Log, track, and update support tickets in the helpdesk/ticketing system.
Resolve user issues within defined SLA and turnaround time.
Escalate unresolved or complex technical issues to the appropriate support team.
Assist users with password resets, account access, software installation, and basic configuration.
Maintain proper documentation of incidents, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps.
Follow standard IT support procedures and organizational policies.
Ensure a positive user experience through timely and professional communication.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of Windows Operating System, MS Office, hardware, and networking concepts.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Valuable verbal and written communication skills.
Customer-service-oriented approach.
Ability to work effectively in a team workplace.
Basic understanding of IT Helpdesk/Service Desk processes will be an advantage.
Eligibility
Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in IT Helpdesk, Service Desk, Technical Support, or Desktop Support.
Candidates should be willing to work from the TCS Camac Street, Kolkata location.
