JOB Responsibilities:-

Discipline and Compliance

- Implement and enforce hostel policies, rules, and regulations in alignment with university guidelines and statutory requirements.
- Maintain discipline among students, addressing behavioural issues, and ensuring compliance with the hostel code of conduct.
- Ensure adherence to relevant legal and statutory requirements, including local and state hostel regulations.

Safety and Security

- Supervise the safety and security of students, ensuring all protocols for hostel safety are adhered to as per regulatory norms.
- Monitor entry and exit of students and visitors, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Conduct periodic safety audits, including fire safety checks, and coordinate with security personnel to address any lapses.

Administration and Operations

- Manage room allocations and maintain detailed records of occupancy in compliance with university and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that hostel premises meet all health and sanitation standards as required by law.




- Monitor the quality of food and hygiene standards in the hostel mess as per food safety regulations.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to address infrastructure issues and ensure a safe, habitable workplace.

Student Welfare and Mentorship

- Act as a mentor to students, ensuring their welfare and resolving grievances in line with university policies and applicable legal frameworks.
- Conduct regular meetings with students to communicate hostel policies and ensure alignment with institutional and regulatory expectations.

Legal and Ethical Accountability

- Ensure compliance with anti-ragging laws, sexual harassment policies, and other relevant legal mandates applicable to hostels.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive matters, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards.

Assist in addressing legal or compliance matters related to hostel operations, including coordination with university administration and legal advisors when required.
