About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Application Developer – DevOps with 3–5 years of experience to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Python application development, web service development and integration, REST/SOAP APIs, databases, and CI/CD processes.

This role combines software development and DevOps responsibilities. You will be responsible for developing, testing, maintaining, and deploying high-quality applications while helping automate the software delivery lifecycle. You should have a good understanding of application architecture, software engineering practices, SDLC methodologies, and DevOps best practices.

The successful candidate will work closely with development, QA, infrastructure, and operations teams to build reliable, scalable, and efficient applications. Experience with Flask, Django, or FastAPI, asynchronous processes, SQL and NoSQL databases, and automated deployment pipelines is essential. Exposure to Machine Learning model development will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, test, debug, and maintain high-quality software applications using the Python programming language.

- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and scalable code following coding standards and software engineering best practices.

- Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and production support.

- Develop and integrate web services and APIs for internal and external applications.

- Work with RESTful and SOAP architectures and ensure secure,



reliable, and efficient communication between applications and services.

- Build backend applications using Python frameworks such as Flask, Django, and/or FastAPI.

- Work with asynchronous programming and processes to support scalable and high-performing applications.

- Integrate applications with third-party services, databases, and external systems.

- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application builds, testing, packaging, and deployments.

- Install, configure, manage, and optimize DevOps automation tools across cloud and non-cloud infrastructure.

- Create and maintain build scripts, deployment scripts, versioning processes, and application packaging procedures.

- Support continuous integration and continuous testing by automating builds and integrating tests into the deployment lifecycle.

- Deploy and manage applications across development, testing, staging, and production environments.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application code, APIs, databases, builds, deployments, and infrastructure.

- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, write efficient queries, and support database integration and performance optimization.

- Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.





- Maintain technical documentation related to applications, APIs, integrations, deployment processes, and operational procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 3–5 years of experience in Application Development, Python Development, Backend Development, DevOps, or a similar role.

- Strong hands-on programming experience in Python.

- Experience in developing and integrating web services and APIs.

- Strong understanding of REST and SOAP web service architectures.

- Hands-on experience with Flask, Django, or FastAPI.

- Knowledge of asynchronous programming and asynchronous processes.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes and DevOps tools.

- Experience with automated builds, testing, versioning, packaging, and application deployment.

- Valuable working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Understanding of software engineering principles, SDLC, testing, and DevOps best practices.

- Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.

- Experience with Shell scripting and exposure to Java will be an added advantage.

- Experience or proficiency in Machine Learning model development is preferred.

- Good analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
