About HiWox

HiWox is building an integrated healthcare and wellness platform focused on preventive healthcare, personalised wellness and measurable health outcomes across 9 dimensions of wellness.

We are looking for a Data Scientist to build the data and intelligence layer of HiWox and convert healthcare and wellness data into actionable insights, predictions and personalised recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

- Healthcare Data Intelligence – Build systems to collect, structure and analyse user, health, wellness and behavioural data across HiWox's 9 wellness domains.

- Personalisation & Recommendations – Develop data-driven models to generate personalised wellness assessments, recommendations, interventions and progress insights.

- Predictive Analytics – Build statistical and machine learning models to identify health and wellness patterns, risk indicators, user behaviour and transformation outcomes.

- Wellness Scoring & Assessment – Develop scientific and data-driven scoring systems to measure users across different wellness domains and track changes over time.

- Data Pipeline & Analytics – Work with the technology team to design data pipelines, databases, dashboards and analytics systems required for the HiWox platform.

- AI & Machine Learning – Explore and implement AI/ML models, NLP and other relevant technologies for healthcare intelligence, automation and decision support.

- Research & Experimentation – Analyse datasets, test hypotheses and conduct experiments to identify insights that can improve HiWox's products and healthcare programs.





- Product Collaboration – Work closely with healthcare professionals, product designers and developers to convert data insights into practical product features.

- Outcome Measurement – Develop metrics and analytical frameworks to measure user engagement, health improvements, program effectiveness and overall transformation outcomes.

Ideal Candidate

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, AI/ML, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, statistics and machine learning.

- Experience with data visualisation and analytics tools.

- Understanding of machine learning, predictive modelling and experimentation.

- Interest in healthcare, wellness, preventive healthcare and health technology.

- Healthcare, biomedical or health-data experience will be an advantage.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

- Ability to work independently in an early-stage startup workplace.

Important: This is an equity-only position with no fixed salary at the current stage. Equity will be structured based on contribution, commitment, expertise and company milestones, subject to formal equity and founder agreements.

We are looking for someone who wants to build the healthcare intelligence layer of a startup from the ground up, rather than simply perform analytics on an existing system.
