We are seeking a qualified and experienced NACE/BGAS Certified QC Inspector to join our project team for industrial, refinery, petrochemical, and oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all coating, painting, and surface preparation activities are executed in accordance with project specifications, client requirements, international standards, and quality procedures.

The QC Inspector will perform inspections of surface preparation, abrasive blasting, coating application, and final painting works. Key responsibilities include monitoring environmental conditions, verifying coating materials, assessing surface cleanliness and profile, measuring wet film thickness (WFT) and dry film thickness (DFT), conducting adhesion and holiday testing where applicable, and ensuring compliance with approved inspection and test plans (ITPs).

The candidate will maintain inspection records, prepare quality reports, witness tests, and coordinate with project teams, contractors, and client representatives to ensure timely resolution of quality issues.



The role also requires identifying non-conformities, recommending corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with company quality standards and HSE requirements.

Requirements:

NACE Coating Inspector or BGAS Painting Inspector Certification.
Minimum 4 years of experience in coating and painting inspection.
Experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Power, or Industrial Projects.
Knowledge of SSPC, ASTM, ISO, and client coating specifications.
Proficiency in using coating inspection instruments such as DFT gauges, surface profile gauges, and environmental monitoring equipment.
Robust communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively coordinate with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Experience in refinery shutdowns, maintenance projects, and large-scale industrial construction activities will be an added advantage.
