The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for critical financial and quantitative aspects of construction projects. This role demands precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining project integrity.
- Execute meticulous quantification from drawings, design information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct thorough verification of quantities provided by Engineers or Suppliers to maintain project accuracy.
- Diligently obtain and analyse quotations and pricing from suppliers and vendors to support cost-effective decision-making.
- Develop and structure comprehensive estimates, bills of quantities, and bills of materials with utmost precision.
- Perform in-depth rate analysis to ensure competitive and realistic project costing.
- Implement and maintain robust project WBS structures to effectively track and control cost information.
- Establish, set, and rigorously track project baseline budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and project viability.
- Deliver accurate and timely reporting of project information, including qualified liaison with broader project team members and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate proficient knowledge of CPWD Publications, DSR, and other relevant industry standards.
