Job description

The ideal candidate is a techno-functional SAP consultant with strong functional expertise and the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams. The role requires a combination of SAP configuration knowledge, solution design capabilities, and an understanding of end-to-end business processes and system integrations.

Core Competencies

- Proficient in SAP S/4, with robust configuration and functional support experience.
- Techno-functional lead with a minimum of 6 8 years of hands-on SAP experience, preferably in the following modules:
- Customer Service (CS): Service Orders, Notifications, Service Contracts, and field service processes.
- Sales and Distribution (SD): Sales Orders, Deliveries, Billing, Pricing, and customer order management.
- Project System (PS): Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), project planning, execution, and cost tracking.
- Materials Management (MM): Parts and materials management, procurement, inventory management, and stock movements.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes spanning Customer Service, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Project execution.
- Experience translating business requirements into functional SAP solutions and high-level solution designs.

Integration Knowledge

- Solid understanding of SAP S/4 integration across CS, SD, MM,



and PS modules and their end-to-end process dependencies.
- Knowledge of integration points with Finance (FI/CO), Warehouse Management, and external field service or mobile applications is highly desirable.
- Ability to assess the impact of functional changes across integrated SAP processes and downstream systems.
- Familiarity with interface concepts, including IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs, middleware, and data exchange between SAP and external applications.

Leadership and Delivery

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with business users, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
- Collaborate with ABB and supplier teams to assess the SAP impact of field service-related feature requests and business enhancements.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and high-level solution designs.
- Prepare high-level implementation tasks, effort estimates, and delivery plans for SAP R/4 enhancements.
- Support solution design discussions, impact assessments, testing, and deployment activities while ensuring alignment with business objectives and SAP best practices.

Experience: Minimum of 6 8 years of hands-on SAP experience
