2. Job description:
o Individual will participate in planning and implementation of security controls and maintenance that is consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
o Knowledge on security controls and best practice for endpoint security namely EDR,XDR solutions, Email Gateway security, Azure Cloud solution and MS Purview.
o Should have knowledge on Datacenter activities and User side troubleshooting as and when required.
o Individual will participate in planning and implementation of security controls and maintenance that is consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
o Should have knowledge on compliance monitoring and providing solution on to achieve client standard compliance agreement. (Azure defender)
o Deployment knowledge of Microsoft Defender for endpoint(ATP), Azure Defender for cloud, Defender for Office 365 and mail(ATP), Defender for Identity and MS purview
o Able to configure Customize Defender EDR policy as per Customer requirement and optimize it for better performance.
o Able to configure and give operation support to Microsoft Defender for endpoint(ATP), Azure Defender for cloud, Defender for Office 365 and mail(ATP), Defender for Identity.
o Should have knowledge on email security solution tools like Defender for O365 and DLP Solution like ms purview.
o Should have compliance and risk management skills to work on Azure defender and Azure advisory compliance center and work on finding.
o Understand the client requirements and involve in high level troubleshooting with minimal vendor involvement.
o Having Leadership quality to lead the endpoint team and should have good communication skill to interface client and provide required reports as and when asked.
o Works inter-departmentally to identify and correct flaws in the company's security systems, solutions, and programs while recommending specific measures that can improve the company's overall security posture.
o Understand client-side business requirements and provide value led solutions.



Should have strong and clear verbal and written communication skills including addressing escalations, presenting status in management meetings.
o Assist the IT application development and It infrastructure teams to ensure security practices in development, operations and incident management.
o Ensure over all security compliance against security standard operating policies and procedures.
o Flexible enough to work on as and when required, at the time of major issues and as and on business requirements.
Microsoft Purview Capability Assessment and Enablement
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Purview data security, compliance and governance capabilities, including information protection, sensitivity labels, data loss prevention, endpoint DLP, insider risk management, audit, eDiscovery, communication compliance, data lifecycle management and data security posture management.
Ability to assess new Microsoft Purview capabilities against business objectives, licensing, data protection priorities, regulatory obligations, existing controls, user impact, operational ownership and integration with Microsoft 365, endpoint and security operations processes.
Experience performing discovery and readiness assessments to identify sensitive data locations, business-critical information types, existing classification and labelling maturity, DLP policy gaps, endpoint coverage, unmanaged data flows and risky user activities.
Ability to design Purview controls in audit, test and enforce modes, including policy scoping, alert tuning, exception handling, user notifications, policy tips, incident review workflows and operational runbooks.
Ability to evaluate end-user impact of Purview controls, including restrictions on sharing, copying, printing, uploading, emailing, labelling,



accessing or moving sensitive information across Microsoft 365, endpoints, cloud applications and browser-based workflows.
Ability to define a phased enablement roadmap for new Purview capabilities, including pilot selection, control objectives, success measures, monitoring approach, support model, communications and handover to operational teams.

Cross-Functional Skills and Deliverables
Security architecture and risk assessment capability to translate technical hardening actions into measurable business risk reduction.
Strong stakeholder management.

3. Job requirements: Experience/Educational qualification/Competencies (please update all data in yellow to your requirements)
o years of experience in managing an Cyber/IT security with increasing responsibility.
o Bachelor's Degree in computer science/Information Technology preferred or equivalent relevant work experience and/or relevant certifications.
o Security expert with extensive skills across both technical and business aspect of Information and Cyber security.
o Good Knowledge on Incident management, change management, Risk Management and Endpoint security.
o Extensive experience on security controls and best practice for Microsoft Defender for endpoint(ATP), Azure Defender for cloud, Defender for Office 365 and mail(ATP), Defender for Identity, DLP- MS Purview
o Hands on experience on Azure cloud security, Workload security, Posture Security, Regulatory compliance, DeveOps Security.
o Capable of driving the risk management and mitigation plan for security issues along with client
o Ability to keep up with latest developments in the field and upgrade IT Security
o Good communication and negotiation skills
o Excellent planning and organization ability
o Excellent time management skills and understanding the value of a baseline
o Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
o Excellent management and leadership qualities
