SAP MDG Developer

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 5 to 8 yrs

We are seeking a skilled SAP MDG Developer to support and enhance our existing SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) implementation. This role requires strong expertise in customizing the MDG UI and workflows using BRF+ and ABAP, along with the ability to implement enhancements and occasionally assist the MDG AMS (Application Management Services) team with defect resolution and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Customize and enhance the MDG UI and workflow logic using BRF+ and ABAP.
- Analyze and implement enhancements to the existing MDG solution based on evolving business needs.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to design, develop, and test scalable solutions.
- Support the AMS team by assisting with defect fixes, issue resolution, and performance tuning as needed.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation,



and knowledge transfer activities.
- Ensure compliance with data governance standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP MDG, including enhancement and support of live systems.
- Strong expertise in BRF+ for workflow customization and rule-based logic.
- Proficient in ABAP development, including BADIs, user exits, and enhancement frameworks.
- Experience with MDG UI modeling, validations, and derivations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a production setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
