Carpenter – Job Description

Job Title: CarpenterJob Responsibilities

1. Perform furniture assembly, installation, repair, and maintenance work.
2. Read and understand basic measurements, drawings, and work instructions.
3. Cut, shape, drill, and join wood and other materials as required.
4. Assemble furniture such as beds, wardrobes, tables, chairs, cabinets, and other wooden products.
5. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
6. Visit customer locations for furniture installation and repair, if required.
7. Ensure proper finishing, alignment, and quality of the completed work.
8. Identify and rectify defects or installation issues.
9. Handle tools, materials, and furniture carefully to prevent damage.
10. Maintain cleanliness and safety at the workplace/customer location.
11. Complete assigned jobs within the given timeline.
12. Follow company safety and quality standards.

Eligibility

1. Minimum 10th pass preferred.
2.



ITI/Diploma in Carpentry or related trade is an advantage.
3. 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
4. Freshers with basic carpentry skills may also apply.
5. Good knowledge of carpentry tools and furniture assembly.
6. Physically fit and comfortable with field/customer-site work.
