Role Description The WordPress Developer will work on-site in Nagpur in a full-time capacity, developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites and themes. Day-to-day responsibilities include building new pages and templates, implementing front-end designs, configuring plugins, and optimizing site performance and security. The role involves converting design mockups into responsive WordPress layouts, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. The WordPress Developer will collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that meet client requirements and project timelines. The position also includes regular updates, maintenance tasks,



and improvements to existing WordPress sites based on user feedback and analytics.

Qualifications

- Strong Front-End Development skills, including WordPress theme implementation, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for interactive and responsive interfaces.
- Experience in Back-End Web Development for WordPress, including PHP, WordPress hooks and filters, custom post types, and database interactions.
- Proficiency in Web Design and Responsive Web Design, ensuring accessible, user-friendly layouts that adapt to various devices and screen sizes.
- Solid Web Development fundamentals, including version control (e.g., Git), cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and security best practices.
- Experience with WordPress plugins (installation, configuration, customization) and familiarity with popular page builders or frameworks.
- Ability to analyze requirements, estimate tasks, and deliver clean, maintainable code within set timelines.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in a WordPress development role or a strong portfolio showcasing WordPress projects is highly beneficial.
