Job Description - Account Executive
Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our company. The Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the financial health of our organization. Responsibilities:
1. Financial Recordkeeping - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and financial transactions.
2. Month-End Close - Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring financial statements are prepared in a timely and accurate manner.
3. Reconciliation - Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and other financial data to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
4. Budgeting - Collaborate with management to prepare annual budgets and provide ongoing support for budget tracking and analysis.
5. Financial Reporting - Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
6. Tax Compliance - Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including the preparation and filing of tax returns,



and stay informed about changes in tax laws.
7. Audit Support - Assist in the preparation for and coordination of internal and external audits.
8. Expense Management - Monitor and control company expenses, reviewing and approving expenditures, and ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
9. Financial Analysis - Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
10. Accounts Payable and Receivable - Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections.
11. Financial Systems - Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes and maintain data accuracy.
12. Compliance - Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations and ensure the company's financial practices are in compliance.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus. - Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.



- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and external stakeholders. - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. - Ethical and qualified conduct in handling financial information.
