About Northloom Global :Northloom Global is a garment development and manufacturing company based in Pune, working with fashion brands and designers across India and international markets.We support clients across product development, from concept interpretation, sourcing and sampling to production and manufacturing.We are currently looking for a Fashion Designer – Design & Product Development to join our growing team.Role Overview :This is a hands-on role for someone who can translate client briefs, references and design concepts into technically feasible garments and guide them through the sampling and development process.Key Responsibilities :Interpret client briefs, reference images, sketches and tech packsAssist with garment design and product developmentPrepare technical drawings, specifications and tech packs where requiredCoordinate sampling and pattern development with masters and the production teamSource fabrics, trims, embellishments and garment componentsCoordinate with fabric suppliers, vendors and external job workersOversee sample development, fittings,



corrections and finalisationIdentify garment construction and production challenges and work on practical solutionsMaintain sampling and product-development recordsManage multiple client developments and timelines simultaneouslyAssist in transitioning approved samples into productionWhat We're Looking For :Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design or a related discipline.Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics and manufacturingPractical exposure to sampling and product developmentAbility to understand technical drawings, sketches and garment referencesWorking knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW or similar softwareStrong attention to detail and executionGood communication and coordination skillsComfortable working closely with masters, karigars, vendors and suppliersMinimum 2-3 years of relevant experience with a fashion brand, export house, buying house or garment manufacturing unit is required.Knowledge of embroidery, surface development, textiles, merchandising or fabric development would be an added advantage.Location: Pune, MaharashtraWork Type: Full time | On-siteHow to Apply:Interested candidates are requested to email their updated CV and portfolio to [email protected] with the subject line:Application – Fashion Designer – Design & Product Development | [Your Name]Applications must include a portfolio showcasing relevant design, technical and/or product development work.
