Position Purpose

This role will be primarily responsible towards driving productive waste treatment at the site through operation and maintenance of Incinerator/MEE and shall report to lead Environment including incoming waste management

Strategic Responsibilities

.

Operational Responsibilities

- Ensure optimum performance and output from the operations of Incinerator /MEE/ETP

- Operation and maintenance of Incinerable / MEE/ETP

- Ensuring proper operation of Incinerator /MEE / Clarifiers/ Parallel Plate Separators

- Working in close coordination with other team members towards best results from Incineration /MEE /ETP operation

- Supervise the jobs related all equipment and monitor their performance for optimum and safe operations

- Communication with superiors and carry out field actions accordingly

- Maintaining proper housekeeping in the area of Incinerator /MEE/ETP

- Trouble shooting and increasing the performance of Waste treatment equipment

- Implementation of management systems related to EHS in the function

- Incinerator/ ETP Sludge (Hazardous Waste) management and handling





- Compliance to procedures and Work Instructions

Financial Responsibilities

- Operations of Incinerator/MEE /ETP maintaining expenses related as per the approved budget and targets

- Implement the cost saving initiatives in the areas of Incinerator/MEE /ETP Treatment

People Responsibilities

- Ensure smooth working of the shift to achieve high productivity and safety level

- Encourage supervisors/operators to participate in suggestion scheme

- Smooth coordination and close working with team to maintain high Morale of the Workforce

Education Qualification

BE – Chemical or MSc /B.Sc (Chemistry) + PDIETM

Work Experience

5-7 Yrs

Industry to be Hired from

Chemical process based industry like Agrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals. Fine / specialty chemicals

Functional Competencies

- Sound knowledge in Operations, trouble shooting of Incineration/ MEE / Bio and Chemical ETP and Pollution Control Equipment

- Sound knowledge in operations of Rotary kiln, MEE, clarifier, Parallel Plate Separators, Belt Press etc.
