URGENT HIRING – CONSULTANT UROLOGIST

Location: Tinsukia, Assam

POSITION

Consultant Urologist

QUALIFICATION

• MCh Urology

• Valid NMC / Assam Medical Council Registration

EXPERIENCE

• Experienced candidates preferred

• Candidates with strong independent clinical and surgical experience in Urology will be given preference

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct Urology OPD consultations and manage IPD patients

• Diagnose and manage urinary tract, kidney, bladder and ma-le reproductive system disorders

• Manage renal stones, ureteric stones, BPH, urinary obstruction, UTI and other urological conditions

• Perform endourological procedures and surgeries as per expertise

• Perform laparoscopic/open urological procedures as per expertise and hospital facilities

• Manage urological emergencies including acute urinary retention, obstructive uropathy, haematuria and renal colic

• Provide pre-operative assessment and post-operative urological care

• Review and interpret relevant USG, CT, MRI, uroflowmetry and laboratory investigations

• Coordinate with Nephrologists, General Surgeons, Radiologists, Intensivists and other specialists

• Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment options,



procedures and follow-up

• Maintain accurate clinical records, operative notes and discharge summaries

• Participate in emergency/on-call duties as per hospital requirements

• Follow NABH, infection-control, patient-safety and hospital clinical protocols

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Robust clinical and surgical expertise in Urology

• Good endourology and stone-management skills

• Laparoscopic surgery experience will be an added advantage

• Strong emergency urological management skills

• Excellent clinical decision-making abilities

• Good patient counselling and communication skills

• Professional and patient-centric approach
