Scope of the role:

We are seeking a skilled Structural
Steel BIM Modeller with 3+ years of relevant experience in structural
steel detailing and BIM modelling. The ideal candidate should have a strong
understanding of steel structures, detailing practices, and construction
requirements, along with hands-on experience in Revit-based BIM projects and
cloud collaboration environments. The candidate should be able to interpret
engineering intent, develop constructible models and detailing solutions, and
deliver accurate project information while working effectively with engineers,
detailers, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create accurate 3D structural steel BIM models, including
columns, beams, braces, primary and secondary framing, structural
connections, and other related components

- Develop, modify, and maintain Revit structural families,
including custom and parametric components.

- Prepare detailed structural steel shop/fabrication
drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, connection details,
dimensions, annotations, and material information.

- Create and maintain Revit schedules for steel
members, connections, materials, quantities, and other project
requirements.

- Review structural drawings and specifications to understand
design intent and accurately translate them into 3D BIM models.

- Perform BIM coordination and clash detection with
other disciplines using Revit and Navisworks.

- Identify modelling conflicts, connection issues, dimensional
discrepancies, and coordination requirements, and implement necessary
corrections.

- Update models, drawings, families, and schedules based on
design revisions, RFIs,



and coordination comments.

- Ensure proper alignment, levels, grids, member locations, and
connection details within the BIM model.

- Perform model and drawing QA/QC to ensure accuracy,
consistency, and compliance with project standards.

- Maintain consistency between the 3D model, shop drawings,
schedules, and fabrication information.

- Follow project BIM standards, naming conventions, modelling
procedures, and LOD requirements.

Requirements

Education Qualification & Skills Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering

- Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit Structure and
structural steel modelling.

- Good experience in Revit Family Creation and
parametric modelling.

- Strong knowledge of structural steel connections and
detailing.

- Experience in preparing structural steel shop/fabrication
drawings.

- Good knowledge of Revit schedules, parameters, and model
documentation.

- Working knowledge of Navisworks and clash detection.

- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and
engineering details.

- Understanding of steel fabrication and construction practices.

- Strong attention to detail, coordination, and problem-solving
skills.

- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications &Technical; Skills





· Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, ACC
/ BIM360, BIM workflows, drawing production

· Standards: ISO 19650, BIM
standards and protocols

· Experience: 3+ years in
Structural Steel BIM modelling and documentation

· Experience in data center,
Industrial, and large-scale building projects, including PEB
(Pre-Engineered Building) projects, with advanced BIM modelling,
coordination, and digital delivery experience.
