In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality server-side applications that meet the needs of our clients and enhance our platform's functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Design and implement APIs, ensuring they are robust and scalable.
- Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our tech stack remains competitive.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role with a strong focus on Node.js.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript and its frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with database systems such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
