- Develop and deliver age -appropriate music curricula aligned with national and school -specific educational standards.
- Plan and conduct engaging, interactive music lessons covering vocal training, instrumental instruction, music theory, and cultural music appreciation.
- Organize and lead school music events, concerts, and performances to showcase student talent and promote school spirit.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations, feedback sessions, and performance reviews.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate music into interdisciplinary projects and school -wide activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Education, or a related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of teaching experience in music education, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong proficiency in one or more musical instruments (e.g., piano, violin, guitar, percussion).
- Demonstrated expertise in vocal training, music theory, and music composition.
- Experience in organizing and directing school music performances, choirs, or ensembles.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles and age groups (Classes I–X).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
